I love this advent wreath
December 20 New person. She came into your life and turned it upside down. He went out of his way to provide incredible customer service. Who is your unsung hero of 2009?
—–> I’m gonna give it up the random black guys with pick-up lines like, “Sexy…sexy” to the tune of that song. I don’t know why they are attracted to me, or what might make them think I’m interested, but I appreciate that they appreciate me.
December 21 Project. What did you start this year that you’re proud of?
—–> I started quilting. I like it and the idea of it. I see more patchwork in my future.
December 22 Startup. What’s a business that you found this year that you love? Who thought it up? What makes it special?
—–> I’m gonna say that I thought up my own business. I thrift shop and find vintage wares, then re-sell them on Etsy. Sometimes I break even, sometimes I make a little extra, but I like that it keeps me busy and thrifting.
December 23 Web tool. It came into your work flow this year and now you couldn’t live without it. It has simplified or improved your online experience.
—–> Web tool? That’s a tough one. There isn’t really a new one, that I didn’t know about before, but I would say that I am a much more consistant blogger these days. Though Win7 has been pretty great!
December 24 Learning experience. What was a lesson you learned this year that changed you?
—–> Appreciation: I’ve learned to appreciate everything that I’ve been blessed with. An amazing husband, a stable home, wonderful kitties, family that loves me, faith, my cooking skills, etc…
December 25 Gift. What’s a gift you gave yourself this year that has kept on giving?
—–> probably my quilting class. It really stirred something in me.
December 26 Insight or aha! moment. What was your epiphany of the year?
—–> Adam actually helped me come to the realization that I am relentless in most things I do. Everything is balls to the wall and full effort.
December 27 Social web moment. Did you meet someone you used to only know from her blog? Did you discover Twitter?
—–> Um, I started following someones blog because she posted one of my pics. That’s about it.
December 28 Stationery. When you touch the paper, your heart melts. The ink flows from the pen. What was your stationery find of the year?
—–> Oh man, I found these cute cards at St. Vinny’s. I also found these flocked Christmas cards at a house sale.
December 29 Laugh. What was your biggest belly laugh of the year?
—–> The one I can remember is when I thought up a clever “joke” on Adam. I thought (still think) that sprinkling jumping jacks on his side of the bed for him to “discover” when he gets up in the middle of the night would be hilarious 🙂
December 30 Ad. What advertisement made you think this year?
—–>eTrade: I love those darn babies talking to the computer; “it was on the cart path! Why don’t you try reading the rules sometime you shankapotumus.”
“♫ take, these broken wings♫ — stop that, it’s not the time– ♫ and learn to fly again ♫”
December 31 Resolution you wish you’d stuck with. (You know, there’s always next year…)
—–> Probably the whole losing weight thing, like every year.

Now that I’ve finished that a little early there are some other things to be updated.
First off, these are the cute pencil rolls I made for my cousins for Christmas. I have wanted to make them for awhile, and over all there are a couple things I’d note. I would have made the sections thinner, but lesson learned.
Here are some steals I came across this past week….
Beautiful Pyrex Butterfly Gold Casserole’s

These beautiful new Pyrex cups. We are doing a tea party in May and these might be the perfect cups for it.
