I’m doing this a few days later than everyone else, so I’ve decided to post days 1-6 in one post….here it goes! Becky! You should do this too!
Check out the BEST OF 2009
What is the challenge?
A look back on your year. A time for reflection. A chance to make new friends.
How to participate in 5 simple steps:
1. Write on one or all thirty-one of the prompts for the month of December
2. A post can be a sentence, photo or 3,000 word essay
3. Link up your blog or Twitter account if you’re going to tweet your bests, on the list below (add your name to the bottom where it says: You are next…CLICK HERE to enter your link)
5. Share your best moments of 2009 over the course of December. Don’t get hung up on details or length – if there’s an aspect of the question that doesn’t resonate, change it to meet your needs.
The #best09 Prompts
December 2 Share the best restaurant experience you had this year. Who was there? What made it amazing? What taste stands out in your mind?
—–> Probably Bubba Gump while we were in Chicago, just a fun atmosphere and good food 🙂
December 3 What’s an article that you read that blew you away? That you shared with all your friends. That you Delicious’d and reference throughout the year.
—–> I’m not a huge article reader, though if you count blogs there are too many to read…It’s great getting to know people through their blogs.
December 4 What book – fiction or non – touched you? Where were you when you read it? Have you bought and given away multiple copies?
—–> This is a tough one cause I ten to read for pleasure, not necessarily to be “touched”. I would say that Stephen Colbert’s book “I Am America” entertained me a lot!
December 5 Did you have a night out with friends or a loved one that rocked your world? Who was there? What was the highlight of the night?
—–> Well, my best days tend to be doing things that I think are fun, like going around looking in little shops and just hanging out with people. So, no, there wasn’t really an amazing night out, cause I’m not really the night out type.
December 6 Was there a conference or workshop you attended that was especially beneficial? Where was it? What did you learn?
—–> My company doesn’t pay for conferences to attend, so I don’t go, but I do always enjoy the PNwRC events that I attend. There is always very useful information. I did sit through a 3 hour presentation on bed bugs this year that was absolutely informative and disgusting all at once.
